More than just a competitive sports organisation, Northern Beaches Mermaids BG Volleyball Association - Women and Youth is a community of volleyball friends, family and fans.

The goal of the association is to offer an opportunity for the development of women and youth in volleyball through training and nurturing.

This association will provide a safe environment for women to play volleyball so that they feel emotionally secure and comfortable within the sport environment, protected from physical and emotional harm.

The association also has the objective of having a greater participation of women and girls in sport, not just playing but managing, coaching, reporting and leading.

NBBG hosts multiple indoor volleyball training sessions and games across the year for women players at social and squad levels.
